DESCRIPTION:Are you active in the water sector\, and do you want to showcase your innovations and best practices to improve the sector? Then take part in the New York Water Week (NYWW)\, from 18 – 24 March. This is a separate but complementary part of the United Nations 2023 Water Conference. Please register now.   \nThe New York Water Week is a collaboration between the New York City government and the Netherlands. It showcases innovative water actions and solutions from across the globe. It also broadens the scope and impact of the United Nations 2023 Water Conference\, which takes place from 22 – 24 March. We invite you to bring your ideas to New York City\, showcase your best practices and innovations\, and share your pledges and commitments to the Water Action Agenda. Let’s inspire and be inspired. \nThe central themes of New York Water Week are: \n\nYouth & Education: Empower those who can empower others;\nResilient Cities: Cities as centers for creative solutions and action;\nWater Innovation and Businesses: Being serious about water means putting words into action.\n\nFor whom? \nWe welcome innovative startups\, corporate entrepreneurs and passionate water professionals. \nWhat to expect \nWater Innovation and Businesses flagship event \nThis flagship event\, including field visits\, will take place around Water Innovation & Businesses. Find out about the many business opportunities New York’s water sector has to offer. \nThe working visit gives you a chance to: \n\nGain insights into business development opportunities;\nJoin networking events and field visits;\nPresent your product or service to a large international audience;\nAttract new customers;\nExpand your international professional network;\nTeam up with other stakeholders in strategic partnerships.\n\nThe visit and matchmaking session offer the perfect opportunity to strengthen your network and start long-term partnerships. Participation is open to companies registered in the Netherlands (including startups and scale-ups)\, NGOs\, government organizations and knowledge institutes in the water sector. \nRegistration and expenses \nPlease register for this working visit via this link. Participation is free of charge. Travel and accommodation are at your own expense. Up to 60 people can take part in this working visit. \nIt is important to the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) that participating companies suit the focus of this visit. Registration does not guarantee your place for this visit. We will send you an update confirming your participation in early February. \nWe encourage inclusion\, diversity and female entrepreneurship. We do not select participants based on gender.
