SUMMARY:Get ready for Japan 2024 - October / November edition
DESCRIPTION:Organized yearly since 1987\, the objective of this 2-week long programme is to help EU managers and executives to get an in-depth understanding of how to do business in Japan. \nManaged by the EU-Japan Centre and funded by the European Union\, Get Ready for Japan aims to comprehensively understand Japanese business practices and communication styles and identify opportunities for successful business partnerships. Additionally\, the programme aims to provide insights into the decision-making process within Japanese companies\, which will contribute to a better understanding of their negotiation style and hierarchy. \nFinally\, the programme intends to strengthen existing relationships with Japanese customers and establish new contacts with potential ones with tailored matchmaking support. \nTraining dates: \n\n21-25 October 2024 – online\n11-15 November 2024 – in Tokyo\, Japan\n\nApplication deadline: Thursday\, 29 August 2024 \nPARTICIPANT PROFILE \nTypical participants: \n\nmanagers and executives from small and medium-sized enterprises\nhave a major role in defining and implementing their companies’ policies regarding Japan\,\nare to be transferred to Japan\,\ncome from companies intending to supply Japanese companies\,\nwish to learn about management practices and technological developments in Japan.\n\nThe mission is open to any kind of sector of activity. \nCOSTS \n\nThe EU-Japan Centre will cover all the training fees: speakers’ fees\, room rental\, transportation arranged for group activities\, and interpreters.\nThe participants’ companies are expected to cover travel\, accommodation and living expenses.\n\nPlease note: In order to ensure a high degree of personal attention\, the number of participants in the programme is limited and therefore a selection process will be held between all the received candidatures by the deadline.
